TrueWorker is solely a technology platform that connects daily-wage workers with employers; it is not an employer, labor agency, or staffing firm. In other words, TrueWorker does not hire, pay, supervise or control workers – any job contract or employment agreement is strictly between the worker and the hiring party. Consistent with other gig-platforms,TrueWorker disclaims any liability for losses, damages or disputes arising from job arrangements. For example, one platform’s terms explicitly state that it “shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages” arising from use of the service. By usingTrueWorker, you agree that TrueWorker does not assume responsibility for any accidents, injuries or financial losses on the job; those risks are borne by the participants themselves.
